WS-20: Workshop on NOMA for 5G and Beyond

WS-20: Workshop on NOMA for 5G and Beyond

WORKSHOP GOAL

The 6th International Workshop on NOMA for 5G and Beyond will take place during IEEE ICC2020 in Dublin, on Thursday, June 11, 2020. The workshop will provide a forum for brainstorming on the emerging non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) techniques for 5G cellular networks. We aim to bring together the leading researchers in the field, both from academia and industry, to share their recent findings and their views on what access methods best suit the diverse requirements of next-generation networks.

TOPICS OF INTEREST

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • NOMA via the power domain

    • Machine learning and deep learning for NOMA

    • NOMA in wireless powered communications

    • MIMO and intelligent reflecting surface (IRS)-assisted NOMA

    • Advanced coding and modulation for NOMA

    • Multi-cell/massive MIMO NOMA

    • Security provisioning in NOMA

    • Hardware and implementation issues in NOMA

    • Emerging applications of NOMA in 5G, IoT, V2X, and UAV

    • Resource allocation and optimization in NOMA networks

    • Grant-free NOMA and NOMA random access

    • Advanced channel coding and modulation schemes for NOMA

    • Coexistence of NOMA and OFDMA

    • Multiple antenna signal processing techniques for NOMA

    • Pilot design and channel estimation for NOMA

    • NOMA assisted wireless caching and mobile edge computing

    • NOMA in visible light and underwater communications

  • NOMA via the code domain
